Michelle Carius-Smith

Michelle is the Practice Manager / Nurse at Urology Care Toowoomba. She oversees the operational functions at the practice and strives to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience within the clinic. She provides general peri-operative advice, conducts wound reviews, and provides patient education on various aspects such as kidney stone prevention, catheter management and penile injection procedures and conducts uroflowmetry studies. 

She holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Southern Queensland. She has completed post-graduate studies in anaesthetic nursing and continues to work as an anaesthetic nurse in theatre on a casual basis. She has also completed training in endoscopy nursing and laser safety supervision and has previously worked as a Clinical Nurse Manager at St. Andrews Toowoomba Hospital.  She is married with four children and has resided in Toowoomba since 2001.
